THOM Thomas Hospitals seeks a Director of Nursing Services to lead the unit and translate hospital objectives into effective action. The role manages human and material resources to ensure cost-effective, high-quality patient care.
Requires RN license (eNLC acceptable) and BSN; 5 years nursing with 2 years in management. Preferred: MSN and specialty certification. Exempt, 40 hours weekly, South Charleston, WV.
The director is accountable and responsible for the leadership and management of the assigned services on a 24-hour basis. The director translates the objectives, plans, policies and procedures of the hospital and nursing service department into effective actions to ensure quality patient care and manages the human and material resources of the unit to provide cost effective care.
