Job Description

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director, Corporate Data, located in New Brunswick, NJ United States.

Job Overview

The Director, Corporate Data leads the Data & AI strategy and delivery agenda across the DePuy Synthes Corporate Technology landscape — spanning ERP, HR, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Corporate Affairs applications. Working in close collaboration with Corporate Technology teams, this role translates business and functional needs into a prioritized portfolio of data, analytics, and AI initiatives, manages demand end-to-end, and coordinates with the Global Capability Center (GCC) for scalable delivery. The Director serves as the primary connection point between Corporate Technology stakeholders, IT partners, and GCC delivery teams — ensuring data products, analytics, and AI capabilities are aligned to enterprise priorities and drive measurable outcomes across corporate functions. This role requires strong business partnership, data leadership, and people leadership to advance data-driven decision making and operational excellence across the corporate technology domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the Corporate Data & AI strategy in partnership with Corporate Technology and IT leadership, aligned to DePuy Synthes enterprise priorities.
  • Work in close collaboration with Corporate Technology teams to understand needs from a Data and AI perspective across ERP, HR, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Corporate Affairs applications.
  • Own end-to-end demand management — intake, prioritization, and governance — for corporate data, analytics, and AI initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the GCC to plan, resource, and deliver data products, analytics, and AI capabilities at scale.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Corporate Technology, IT, Data & AI teams, and the GCC delivery organization.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for corporate data products, reporting, advanced analytics, and AI use cases.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver data solutions supporting ERP, HR, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Corporate Affairs processes.
  • Drive adoption of data governance, master data management, data quality, and data stewardship practices across corporate data domains.
  • Oversee delivery of dashboards, analytics products, predictive models, and AI-enabled solutions that improve decision making and function performance.
  • Establish KPI and value-realization frameworks to track business impact from data and AI investments.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate roadmaps, priorities, risks, dependencies, and achievements to leadership.
  • Build organizational capability by coaching, mentoring, and developing talent across data, analytics, and AI teams, including GCC-based colleagues.
  • Lead operating and portfolio governance reviews to ensure transparency, prioritization, and alignment across workstreams.
  • Champion continuous improvement through advanced analytics, automation, machine learning, and emerging AI capabilities.
