King & Bishop is partnering with a global consumer products organization to recruit a Director, Corporate Controller in the Philadelphia area. This hands-on leadership role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance, reporting directly to the CFO.

You will lead a growing accounting team, drive month-end closes, manage audits, maintain strong internal controls, and partner with treasury and tax teams to optimize processes and reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience managing month-end close, account reconciliations and external audits.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets.
• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review account reconciliations, financial statements, P&L results and balance-sheet activity.
• Oversee quarterly financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and IFRS requirements.
• Manage the external audit process and liaison with outside auditors.
• Design, maintain and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and protect financial integrity.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and reporting requirements.
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the CFO with cash management, treasury activities and banking relationships.
