Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a Director of Content Strategy to elevate our cybersecurity and enterprise networking storytelling. You will shape editorial strategy across announcements, campaigns, and flagship programs, partnering with Marketing, Product Marketing, and executive stakeholders to translate priorities into compelling narratives.

Lead research-driven content, executive thought leadership, and AI-enabled discovery, ensuring content aligns with business goals and market leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in editorial strategy, thought leadership, or related roles in B2B tech or cybersecurity.
• Strong editorial judgment and writing skills for compelling, credible narratives.
• Ability to synthesize cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise tech trends into differentiated content.
• Experience translating priorities into clear editorial strategies and high-impact content.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve editorial strategy across marketing and communications into a prioritized calendar.
• Partner with marketing on narratives while final positioning remains with leadership.
• Determine content to create, update, repurpose, gate/ungate, refresh, or retire based on data and strategy.
• Lead research and flagship content, including reports and thought leadership programs.
• Develop content assets: thought leadership, executive bylines, research narratives, and web copy.
