Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an Expert Level professional to oversee the Loan Account Servicing Department across Oklahoma and Texas. The role ensures accurate loan accounting, data integrity, and risk controls within the Jack Henry system, including HMDA and CRA data entry.

You will lead a large team, drive process improvements, and partner across lending and operations to meet KPIs and production goals. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive banking/financial services experience, including 5+ years supervisory.
• Strong Excel and Word; experience with document tracking/imaging systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily loan account servicing and data integrity in the core loan accounting system.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment application and escrow analysis.
• Manage participation services, SBA reporting, and GL reconciliation.
• Lead and develop a 20+ member team with 2-3 direct reports; recruit and train successors.
• Partner with lending, credit, operations, compliance, and sales to resolve issues.

Job description

Oversees the Loan Account Servicing Department's daily functions, processes, and risk controls to ensure loan accounting and data integrity in the Jack Henry loan accounting system. Scope includes loan data input and maintenance, research, advance and payment processing, participation services, GL reconciliation, escrow, and loan customer service for Oklahoma and Texas community banks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure loans are boarded and maintained accurately and on time in the core loan accounting system, including HMDA and CRA data entry
• Ensure accurate and timely payment application
• Manage escrow analysis and payment processing for the Bank and Mortgage divisions
• Manage participation services and SBA guaranteed loan reporting
• Own daily and monthly core system reporting
• Resolve credit disputes, corrections, and inquiries
• Manage loan-related risk controls within established tolerances
• Lead, schedule, coach, and evaluate staff; recruit, hire, train, and develop a successor
• Meet department KPIs, production goals, and service standards
• Partner across lending, credit, operations, compliance, and sales to resolve issues
• Represent loan operations on enterprise initiatives (new products and services)
• Recommend and implement process improvements

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive banking/financial services experience, including 5+ years supervisory
• 3-5 years of advanced loan accounting system experience: loan setup, maintenance, escrow, loan codes, GL reconciliation, participations, lending regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Strong Excel and Word; some document/exception tracking and imaging system knowledge
• Proven team-building, coaching, conflict management, and decision-making skills
• Experience servicing multiple loan types and products
• Commercial-only OR consumer-only servicing leaders; both is ideal, not required
• Relocation available for the right candidate

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
