Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage, and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. Kyndryl Consult is at the heart of this mission, partnering closely with global enterprises to navigate complex digital transformations, modernize core infrastructure, and unlock sustained business value. As our consulting practice continues to expand, we bring together deep industry expertise, world-class alliances, and end-to-end delivery capabilities to solve our clients' most critical operational and technological challenges.

As a Director, Complex Program Management, you will serve as the principal delivery executive orchestrating high-stakes, multi-year technology transformations for enterprise clients. Operating at the intersection of executive governance, large-scale systems integration, and commercial account stewardship, you will provide strategic leadership across multifaceted delivery ecosystems. In this role, you will be the single point of accountability for steering programs from initial roadmap definition through full operational realization, ensuring our customers achieve tangible, measurable business outcomes.

Operating in a high-impact, client-facing environment across both pre-deal solution shaping and post-deal delivery execution, you will partner directly with client C-suite executives and steering committees. You will direct multi-disciplinary delivery teams and partner ecosystems, navigate regulatory requirements, manage multimillion-dollar portfolio financials, and build long-term trusted relationships that elevate client satisfaction and drive sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Governance: Define program vision and success criteria aligned with corporate / customer strategy. Provide board-level updates and influence executive decision-making.
  • End-to-End Service Integrator: leadership and active collaboration across all actors in the program, even when not explicitly contracted
  • Global Transformation: Drive multi-million-dollar portfolios across geographies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Establish risk governance frameworks and oversee mitigation strategies.
  • Financial Stewardship: Own program P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, board members, global regulators, and strategic partners. This involves driving customer satisfaction and achieving a strong NPS.
  • Innovation & Change Leadership: Champion digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, and cultural change at scale.
  • Board-Level Responsibilities: Participate in CxO executive level meetings, present program performance, risks, and strategic recommendations.

Who You Are

You are good at what you do and possess the depth of leadership and delivery experience to prove it. You bring calm resolve, strategic foresight, and sharp analytical thinking to high-stakes environments, comfortably navigating ambiguity and evaluating trade-offs to guide sound executive decisions. Equally important, you have a growth mindset and an ongoing commitment to personal and professional development. You are deeply customer-focused, dedicating your energy to delivering customer success and building enduring relationships. You are open, borderless, and naturally inclusive, thriving when collaborating across global teams, disciplines, and cultures to achieve extraordinary outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 15 or more years of progressive leadership experience directing complex technology projects and programs within a global IT consulting firm, technology professional services provider, or enterprise cloud vendor
  • Proven track record managing client program portfolios exceeding 100 million dollars in total contract value or 50 million dollars in annual revenue, with direct ownership of margins, revenue realization, and delivery performance
  • Demonstrated experience leading and directing distributed, cross-functional delivery organizations of 50 to 200 or more professionals across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery centers
  • Extensive experience advising C-suite executives, board members, and steering committees, presenting strategic roadmaps, risk assessments, and executive-level program updates
  • Demonstrated track record stepping into distressed or troubled customer programs to realign scope, schedules, and commercials while rebuilding executive trust
  • Proven domain experience leading complex transformations within heavily regulated industries, such as Financial Services, Healthcare, or Public Sector
  • Proven ability to orchestrate multi-vendor ecosystems, software partners, and client internal teams across interdependent delivery milestones
  • Experience establishing comprehensive program governance frameworks, master delivery schedules, and dependency management systems
