Educational Alliance empowers diverse communities in Lower Manhattan through high‑quality, multi‑generational programs and services that strengthen well‑being and economic opportunities. The Director partners with the EVP & CPO to steer cross‑center initiatives and policy-informed program development.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President & Chief Program Officer, this leadership role focuses on public benefits access, Medicaid, economic mobility, and strengthening connections to services

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible nonprofit/public policy/healthcare/government experience.
• Experience leading complex initiatives across multiple programs or partners.
• Strong understanding of public policy and the nonprofit landscape.
• Experience using data and research to inform strategy and decision-making.
• Ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Lead strategic initiatives spanning programs, centers, or functions.
• Advance Community Impact strategies related to benefits access, Medicaid, economic mobility, and service access.
• Collaborate with Executive Directors and leaders to strengthen and expand programs and services.
• Provide research, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making and new initiatives.
• Support strategic partnerships and external relationships that advance EA’s mission.
• Supervise, coach, and develop assigned staff.
