Job description

The Communications Director will help develop and have primary responsibility for implementing a communications strategy to support VPP’s strategic priorities and funding strategy – while pursuing additional opportunities to position VPP as a leader in its field and give greater exposure to VPP + Raise DC. This position will report to the Vice President of External Affairs and be responsible for all communications and collateral, including the website and social media, to consistently and effectively articulate VPP + Raise DC’s mission.

This position will Develop an understanding of VPP’s mission, investment approach and programmatic efforts and develop messaging and communication strategies that promote the mission to all stakeholder audiences. The successful candidate will remain informed of the status and outcomes of VPP partnerships and investments to ensure integration of the latest information into messaging and communications and maintain consistent voice and content across all internal and external communications.

COMPENSATION

Beginning based compensation at $120,000
