Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director of Commerce Cloud Engineering to guide the engineering strategy for a customer-facing commerce platform in a highly regulated healthcare environment. You will own the architectural vision, technical roadmap, and delivery for the platform while partnering with product management, UX, and enterprise systems teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in commerce cloud development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud-native development and deployment in public cloud environments.
• Track record of leading large-scale, customer-facing commerce platforms.
• Deep knowledge of integration patterns with backend systems such as S/4HANA and ERP platforms.
• SAP Certified Development Specialist - SAP Commerce Cloud.

For our client, we are seeking a Director Commerce Cloud Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space.

This leader will guide the engineering strategy for a customer-facing commerce platform that supports complex business and technical needs in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

The role will own the architectural vision, technical roadmap, and delivery execution for a commerce cloud platform, while partnering closely with product management, UX, and enterprise systems teams.

You will also lead a team of engineers, shape best practices, and drive integrations that help deliver reliable, scalable digital commerce experiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $174,164 – $261,246 annually
