Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Leader in Engineering to guide the design, development, and delivery of core services of the Prisma Access platform. You will lead a team of cloud infrastructure engineers across multi-cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading large teams, strong cloud expertise (AWS/GCP/OCI), and hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based tooling.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading large, distributed engineering organizations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI) and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with Helm, Terraform, Kustomize, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cloud infrastructure engineers.
• Architect and scale multi-cloud deployments and Kubernetes clusters.
• Define Kubernetes security, networking, and governance best practices.
• Oversee design and automation of multi-cloud workloads for reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, DevOps, and security teams.
• Drive CI/CD and cloud automation best practices.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity planning.
