Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) seeks a Director of Clinical Technical Operations to lead the technology ecosystem supporting global clinical trials. You will drive strategy, governance, and digital transformation across CTMS, eTMF, EDC, IRT, and data platforms to enable study planning, execution, quality oversight, and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field is required.
• Minimum 12+ years in pharma/biotech/CRO supporting clinical operations.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams or programs.
• Extensive experience with CTMS, eTMF, EDC, IRT, and eCOA/ePRO systems.
• Proven track record in technology implementation and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Technical Operations strategy and governance.
• Oversee clinical systems lifecycle, validation, and interoperability.
• Manage data governance, analytics, and dashboards for trial oversight.
• Partner with Clinical Operations to enable RBQM/RBM and study delivery.
• Drive process optimization and technology-enabled efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
• Ensure inspection readiness and quality across global programs.
