Job summary

The University of Cincinnati Donald P. Klekamp College of Law invites applications for a full-time, open-rank, non-tenure-track Director of the Domestic Violence and Civil Protection Order Clinic.

The Director must be licensed to practice in Ohio and will supervise students in civil protection order work. The Director will collaborate with on- and off-campus partners, oversee curriculum and teaching, and advance survivors’ rights through clinic activities and policy efforts.

Qualifications

• JD and Ohio license to practice law are required.
• Eligible for temporary Ohio certification if licensed elsewhere; must pursue permanent admission.

Responsibilities

• Appear in court on behalf of clinic clients.
• Supervise students in the clinic.
• Develop and evaluate curriculum for the clinic's classroom component.
• Attend meetings and participate in governance; prepare teaching materials.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders on- and off-campus.
• Respond timely to university communications and other duties as assigned.
