Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Clinical Development Scientist (Director) to lead scientific oversight and manage clinical trials in Internal Medicine. You will drive study execution, ensure data integrity, and coordinate with global teams across development phases.

The role requires a PhD/PharmD or equivalent with extensive clinical research experience, strong knowledge of GxP/ICH-GCP, and a track record of regulatory collaboration. Hybrid work with ~2.5 onsite days per week.

Qualifications

• PhD/PharmD or equivalent with 5+ years (PhD), 7+ years (MS), or 8+ years (BA/BS) of clinical research experience in biopharma.
• Experience in cardiometabolic disease areas preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical development, GxP, ICH/GCP and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific oversight and manage clinical trials in Internal Medicine.
• Oversee protocol development, data review and safety monitoring.
• Coordinate site selection and investigator training; manage safety/risk.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders and contribute to regulatory documentation and publications.
