The ideal candidate holds an MD, PhD or PharmD, has industry dermatology experience, and can manage study design, safety assessments, and regulatory interactions in a lean organization.

Director, Clinical Development – Dermatology (Hybrid, Greater Boston)

An innovative clinical-stage biotech is looking for a Director of Clinical Development to lead its dermatology programs. This is a high-visibility role with ownership of clinical strategy and execution across multiple programs in areas of significant unmet need.

What you'll do

• Lead clinical development strategy and execution for dermatology programs, from early phase through proof-of-concept
• Design protocols, endpoints and development plans, and serve as medical lead on studies
• Oversee medical monitoring, safety review and data interpretation with clinical operations, biostatistics and regulatory
• Contribute to regulatory interactions and submissions
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and investigators

What we're looking for

• MD, PhD or PharmD with a strong clinical development background
• Industry clinical development experience in dermatology, including hands-on study leadership
• Experience with novel therapeutic modalities is a plus
• Comfortable in a lean, fast-moving biotech environment

Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite in the Greater Boston area.
