Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Chicago, IL seeks a Director of Client Services for Multifamily to represent the firm's multifamily management platform locally and regionally, upholding Cushman & Wakefield values.

You will build relationships with developers and investors, manage a regional pipeline, run underwriting analysis, coordinate proposals, and support growth and client service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5+ years of related experience.

  • Be a product expert – understand the trends in apartment living in the MSA(s).
  • Be a service expert – understand how our offering is uniquely positioned to drive value for clients.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local developers, ownership groups as well as national institutional investors to support their growth efforts and relationship with Cushman & Wakefield.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of new multifamily property management prospects for region or state.
  • Complete underwriting and property operating expense analysis for Assets.
  • Support the Senior Managing Director of Client Services and local operations market leader(s) in growing the multifamily property management portfolio.
  • Run point on proposal and “pitch” processes as needed in support of regional growth.
  • Coordinate with various C&W departments to complete proposals, marketing materials, analytics, etc., necessary to support the growth of the portfolio.
  • Coordinate client needs for acquisition support, due diligence, underwriting, development consulting, asset reviews, operating performance reviews, market analysis, and general support to existing and new C&W multifamily clients.
  • Coordinate with internal operations leaders to support client contract negotiations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 153,000.00 - $180,000.00
