Director Client Services, Managed Care

The Managed Care Client Services Director (MC CSD) is the primary managed care relationship leader for assigned clients. The role focuses on client stewardship, program performance, operational issue resolution, and strategic consultation across managed care services, including provider networks, case management, utilization review, behavioral health, bill review, specialty programs, ancillary services, and related clinical or vendor-supported solutions.
The Managed Care Client Services Director acts as a trusted advisor and connector between clients, claims operations, clinical leaders, account teams, analytics, network services, and vendor partners to ensure managed care programs are aligned with client objectives and delivering measurable value.
Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. CPCU, AIC and/or ARM or other related designation preferred.
Experience: Ten (10) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years account manager experience or five (5) years adjuster, team lead or managed care experience, analytics experience a plus. Residence in Central or Eastern time zones a plus.

Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $110,000 - $135,000.00/year. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
