Job summary

Latigo Bio in San Francisco is seeking an exceptional Program Lead to guide cross-functional development of clinical and preclinical non-opioid programs for chronic pain. This Director-level role drives integrated planning, program strategy, and risk mitigation, reporting to the SVP, Operations as part of the Development Operations Leadership Team.

The role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams, shaping priorities, and partnering with Finance on budgets while advancing innovative drug

Qualifications

• Senior-level cross-functional leadership experience in a matrix organization.
• Experience leading development of an innovative product is preferred.
• Deep understanding of drug development with strong business/financial acumen.
• Strategic thinker with high learning agility and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and chair the Chronic Program Team with cross-functional leaders to drive strategic planning and execution.
• Shape the integrated strategic and operational plan, identify issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Guide priorities with leadership amid evolving internal and external environments.
• Deliver program goals by prioritizing resources for successful implementation.
• Architect scenarios to inform decision making and program planning.
• Define decision-making forums and ensure stakeholders are involved and informed.
• Partner with Finance to provide strategic oversight for budgets and resources.
• Establish processes and tools to facilitate program management and communication.
