Job summary

The UCLA Anderson Capstone Programs seek a Director of Academic Programs to lead operational and programmatic administration for the Capstone Office, overseeing Capstone offerings across MBA programs. You will partner with faculty directors, MBA programs staff, and campus partners to ensure excellent student experiences and program delivery.

Qualifications

• Supervise, develop, and manage workload of program staff (Required).
• Independent judgment in managing faculty relationships (Required).
• Identify process inefficiencies and evaluate automation or tech-enabled solutions (Required).
• Analyze complex problems and develop creative, well-researched recommendations (Required).
• Demonstrated computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web tools and surveys (Required).
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends (Required).
• Understand MBA education, curricular design, and program implications (Required).
• Ability to present to MBAs, staff, and administrators (Required).
• Systematize operations and improve procedures for efficiency (Required).
• Strong written and oral communication across diverse stakeholders (Required).
• Ability to build cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and administrators (Required).
• Effective priority setting aligned with job responsibilities (Required).
• Knowledge of experiential learning and capstone program models (Required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee four capstone offerings: BCC, AIR, ATMC, MP.
• Collaborate with faculty directors and MBA program staff to ensure delivery of high-quality experiences.
• Develop long-term goals and continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence.
