Job summary

BeOne Medicines Ltd. is seeking a Director of Capital Project Management to lead a $300M expansion of small molecule drug product manufacturing at the Hopewell, NJ site. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and contractor teams, ensuring quality, safety, and readiness for commercial operations.

The role requires 10+ years in capital projects within pharma, PE or PMP credentials, and strong cross-functional leadership. Travel about 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; PE license or PMP preferred.
• 10+ years in engineering, construction, and/or capital project management.
• 5+ years leading large-scale capital projects in pharmaceutical industries.
• Experience managing design firms, CM firms, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA requirements, ISPE guidelines, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change management.
• Direct engineering design firms, construction managers, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee all facility delivery phases from concept to startup and handover.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/EMA/cGMP, safety, and environmental standards.
• Establish governance, reporting, and executive communications.
• Manage capital expenditures and forecast spending.
• Coordinate commissioning, qualification, and operational readiness.
