Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Active California RN license required.
• Minimum of two years as Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Clinical Educator.
• Five to ten years nursing experience, including at least three years as RN and two years as educator.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• RNC-OB, RNC-MNN, or C-EFM certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for oncology physician practice and infusion services.
• Lead decisions regarding relocation strategy, equipment purchases, space planning, and future use of the existing cancer center.
• Complete and implement a protocol allowing chemotherapy services to be provided at a hospital approximately three miles away.
• Lead the expansion into two new levels of therapy requiring advanced oncology and infusion leadership experience.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists and stakeholders to support operational excellence and patient-centered care.

Job description

HCT seeks an experienced oncology leader to serve as the Director of Cancer Center Services at the San Luis Obispo Oncology Center in California. The center includes a 20-bed infusion center and is supported by four collaborative medical oncologists. The ideal candidate will possess extensive oncology leadership experience across both physician practice and infusion operations and be prepared to immediately serve as a subject matter expert.

Schedule: Full-time

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for oncology physician practice and infusion services.

• Lead decisions regarding relocation strategy, equipment purchases, space planning, and the future use of the existing cancer center.

• Complete and implement a protocol allowing chemotherapy services to be provided at a hospital approximately three miles away.

• Lead the expansion into two new levels of therapy requiring advanced oncology and infusion leadership experience.

• Collaborate with medical oncologists and organizational stakeholders to support operational excellence, patient-centered care, and readiness for the new facility.

Requirements:

Education: BSN required; MSN preferred

Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as a Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Clinical Educator

Preferred Experience: Five to 10 years of nursing experience, including at least three years as a registered nurse and two years as an educator

License: Active California RN license required

Certifications: RNC-OB, RNC-MNN, or C-EFM certification and current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

Compensation Details:

• Weekly Range: $3400

• Estimated Annual Range: Approximately $151,590–$225,514 based on full-time employment
