Job Summary

The Director of Business Operations will support the Head of Spend Optimization Services and Canada by translating executive priorities into clear operating plans, coordinated execution, and measurable business outcomes. This role will support strategic planning, executive communications, business reviews, cross-functional alignment, and follow-through on key initiatives across the organization. The position requires a trusted operator who can bring structure to ambiguous priorities, improve operating cadence, surface risks and decisions, and ensure leadership has the visibility needed to drive the business forward.

Role Description

Support the Head of Spend Optimization Services and Canada by translating executive priorities into structured plans, operating rhythms, and clear execution ownership. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across teams, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on goals, timelines, dependencies, and decision points. Prepare leadership updates, business review materials, and executive-level communications that provide clear visibility into priorities, risks, progress, and outcomes. Establish and manage operating cadences, including recurring leadership meetings, follow-ups, action tracking, and accountability mechanisms. Analyze business performance, operational data, and stakeholder input to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support operational initiatives and drive organizational success. Ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, and standards, safeguarding the organization’s integrity and reputation. Identify and mitigate operational risks through comprehensive risk management strategies and contingency planning. Report on operational performance and strategic initiatives to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for future planning. Drive innovation in operational practices, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance productivity and performance.

- Expert Other Requirements Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or relevant work experience required 7-10 years of experience in Business, Information Technology, or a relevant functional area 4+ years of experience in a management position required Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events Ability to travel 25% The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $230,000, which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
