Job Description

The Business Unit Engagement organization operates as the strategic partner with the Business Units and Commercial Excellence & Innovation (CEI) organization. The BU Engagement organization is responsible for synchronizing BU and CEI planning, investment and measurement, ensuring successful adoption of new CEI capabilities in the business unit and driving coordinated customer engagement plans across functions.

The Business Integration Leader (BIL) is the cross-functional orchestrator and leader, serving as the day-to-day face to CEI and relevant cross-functional partners (e.g. DHH, Content Accelerator) to drive integrated planning and seamless business delivery.

The BIL is responsible for implementing identified CEI transformation initiatives to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution of these initiatives within the Business Unit. This individual will report to the Executive Director, Business Unit Engagement Leader and sit on their leadership team.

Key responsibilities and competencies include :-

• Takes a lead role in early capability and transformation design, acting as the "voice of the business" for their respective brand. Transformation teams' first point of contact for validating transformation deployment and capability design
• Monitor and evaluate transformation progress, identifying areas for improvement through capability adoption scorecard framework
• Develop scaling plan and operating model around future BU use cases to ensure collaborative integrations across teams
• Execute roadmap for scaling business opportunities across the BU over a 2-3-year time horizon
• Tie transformation agenda to clear business outcomes and metrics to track over time
• Prioritize transformation projects based on strategic importance, resource availability, and potential impact
• Implement transformation strategies that enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness, ensuring value delivery
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of transformation initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation
• Partner with Business Unit Engagement Director to receive updates on brand priorities and to align on the use of the Associate Director, Brand Activation Lead, who will be a flexible resource between the BUED and BIL

Education Minimum Requirement:

• Required: BA/BS
• Preferred: Advanced degree, such as Masters in Business Administration

Required Experience and Skills :-

• Minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical marketing, commercial strategy/strategic planning, or marketing support
• Demonstrated ability to understand the business to improve organizational results
• Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and drive transformation initiatives forward
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, work teams, or individuals
• Ability to implement long-term transformation strategies that align with organizational goals
• Execution and results-focused, per compliance standards; setting ambitious expectations for accomplishment and ensuring others contribute to organization strategies by focusing them on the most critical priorities, measuring progress and ensuring accountability against those metrics
• Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple transformation initiatives and ensure timely delivery
• Proficiency in managing organizational change and ensuring successful adoption of new capabilities and processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey transformation strategies, plans, and results to stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze performance data, interpret insights, and make data-driven decisions to inform transformation strategies.
• Expertise in developing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $190,800.00 - $300,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
