Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

The Director, Business Development will lead strategic growth initiatives supporting NVIDIA's PCS and DCBU businesses, with a focus on enabling next-generation AI infrastructure through ecosystem development, partner engagement, and cross-functional alignment.

This role is responsible for identifying and advancing strategic business opportunities across the global scale-up and scale-out ecosystem, while building strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. The Director will work across hyperscalers, semiconductor companies, foundries, OSATs, optical technology providers, and system partners to help align ecosystem capabilities with NVIDIA's business and platform priorities.

A critical component of this role is the ability to triangulate information across NVIDIA teams globally, including business units, engineering, architecture, product management, operations, sales, and marketing. This individual will consolidate market intelligence, customer requirements, partner capabilities, technical dependencies, and internal priorities into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
