Director, Business Development, Global Digital Assets & Blockchain

Overview:
The Global Partnerships team is seeking a Director of Global Business Development to advance our digital assets and blockchain customer experience strategy through innovation and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer experience, digital assets, blockchain technology, highly motivated, curious, analytical, and entrepreneurial.

Role:
In this client-facing role, you will:

1. Drive global business development in digital assets and blockchain.
2. Manage global account management tasks aligned with Mastercard standards, ensuring strategy execution, achievement of commercial targets, and fostering relationships with leading crypto and blockchain companies worldwide.
3. Lead product innovation based on customer feedback.
4. Embed Mastercard further into the global crypto and blockchain industry by establishing relationships with exchanges, wallets, layer 1 protocols, onramps, and similar entities.
5. Onboard and train new team members in Business Development and Account Management capabilities, supporting their growth and account management in line with Mastercard standards.
6. Achieve revenue and product targets for Mastercard acquiring and issuing in the digital assets and blockchain segment.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, marketing, communications, and regional teams to shape the future of the digital economy.
8. Review and expand target segments based on new opportunities and product launches.
