Who Are We?
About Airlock Digital

Airlock Digital is a global leader in application control and allowlisting. We seek to empower every organization to run only what they trust and operate free from malware and ransomware.

With rapid growth across Australia, North America, and EMEA. We are committed to our core values, respect, determination, and integrity. We support a diverse and expanding global customer base. At Airlock, we pride ourselves on being a team of humble, collaborative, and driven professionals who support one another and share a passion for cybersecurity.

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and highly collaborative Director of Brand, Campaigns & Communications to shape how Airlock Digital brings its company and product stories to market.

Sitting at the intersection of Product Marketing and Demand Generation, you will translate company strategy, product positioning, and market insights into compelling marketing themes and integrated campaign pillars. You will then lead the development of creative, full-funnel campaigns that bring those themes to life across the buyer journey.

In partnership with Demand Generation, you will document campaign strategies, define the content and creative assets required across the awareness, consideration, and decision stages, and project-manage execution across internal teams and agency partners. Product Marketing will provide the foundational positioning, messaging, and audience insights; you will transform that foundation into engaging campaign concepts and cohesive market-facing experiences.

You will also lead Airlock Digital’s corporate communications strategy, including public relations and internal communications. Working closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and company leadership, you will help build awareness, strengthen Airlock Digital’s authority and credibility in the Endpoint Security space, and ensure our internal and external communications consistently support company priorities.

This will initially be a highly hands-on, individual-contributor leadership role. As the company grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a team that may include writers, designers, and other creative or communications professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Develop Brand and Campaign Pillars
  • Translate company priorities, positioning, customer insights, and market trends into clear, differentiated marketing themes and campaign pillars.
  • Build campaign narratives that connect customer challenges to Airlock Digital’s value proposition in relevant and compelling ways.
  • Establish the creative direction, key messages, proof points, and calls to action for integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure campaign concepts support both new-logo acquisition and growth within Airlock Digital’s existing customer base.
  • Maintain consistency across campaigns while adapting messaging and creative for different audiences, markets, regions, and buying stages.
Lead Integrated Campaign Planning
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Channel Marketing to develop integrated campaign plans, complete with tactics, to achieve marketing and pipeline objectives.
  • Define the audiences, objectives, buyer journeys, content requirements, creative approach, activation plan, timeline, owners, and success measures for each campaign.
  • Map the assets and experiences needed across the full funnel, including top-of-funnel awareness, middle-of-funnel consideration, and bottom-of-funnel evaluation and conversion.
  • Document campaign briefs and plans so that internal teams and external partners are aligned on the strategy, intended outcomes, and timelines.
Oversee Creative Development and Execution
  • Lead campaigns from initial concept through development, launch, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Translate campaign strategies into clear, actionable briefs for writers, designers, agencies, and other creative partners.
  • Project-manage campaign execution across Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Channel Marketing, Sales and external agencies.
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, reviews, approvals, and deliverables to ensure campaigns launch on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Manage creative agency relationships and evaluate the future opportunity to bring writing and design capabilities in-house.
  • Establish repeatable processes that allow Airlock Digital to develop high-quality campaigns efficiently and at scale.
Lead Corporate Communications and Public Relations
  • Develop and execute a global corporate communications strategy that builds awareness, authority, and credibility for Airlock Digital.
  • Translate company objectives, product developments, customer outcomes, and market perspectives into relevant external communications opportunities.
  • Own the corporate news calendar and oversee press releases, media materials, contributed content, executive commentary, and other corporate communications.
  • Identify opportunities for executive thought leadership, media engagement, speaking opportunities, awards, and industry recognition.
  • Lead and manage global public relations agencies, setting clear priorities, expectations, deliverables, and performance measures.
  • Partner with leadership on sensitive, high-visibility, or time-critical communications when required.
  • Ensure external communications are accurate, credible, differentiated, and consistent with Airlock Digital’s brand and positioning.
Own Internal Communications
  • Develop an internal communications strategy that keeps employees informed, connected, and aligned with company priorities.
  • Partner closely with leadership to translate company goals, decisions, progress, and organizational changes into clear and engaging employee communications.
  • Partner closely with HR and execute strategies that build awareness and candidate pipeline for open positions.
  • Establish an effective cadence and channel strategy for company updates, leadership communications, internal announcements, and other employee-facing content.
  • Help leaders communicate complex or sensitive information with clarity, consistency, and empathy.
  • Ensure internal and external narratives remain aligned while tailoring communications appropriately for each audience.
Measure Awareness and Campaign Impact
  • Establish clear objectives, benchmarks, and measurement frameworks for campaigns, public relations, brand awareness, and internal communications.
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Marketing Operations to evaluate campaign engagement, asset performance, account reach, conversion, pipeline influence, and other business outcomes.
  • Measure communications performance through indicators such as quality media coverage, share of voice, message penetration, audience reach, executive visibility, referral traffic, engagement, and brand search activity.
  • Regularly communicate results, insights, and recommendations to Marketing and company leadership.
  • Use performance data and audience feedback to refine campaign themes, creative, content, communications strategies, and agency investment.
Build the Function
  • Serve as a hands-on leader who can move confidently between strategy, writing, creative direction, stakeholder management, and execution.
  • Establish the processes, templates, editorial standards, campaign frameworks, and governance needed to scale the function.
  • Manage budgets and external resources across creative development, public relations, and communications.
  • Assess future organizational needs and build a business case for adding internal writing, design, or communications talent.
  • Over time, recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing brand, creative, and communications team.
  • Stay current on emerging campaign, communications, brand, and AI practices that can improve creativity, efficiency, personalization, and measurable impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of people leadership.
  • Experience in a senior brand, integrated marketing, campaign, or corporate communications role.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate company strategy and product positioning into compelling marketing themes, creative platforms, and integrated campaigns.
  • Experience planning and executing full-funnel B2B campaigns across awareness, consideration, evaluation, and conversion stages.
  • Strong public relations experience, including direct responsibility for managing agencies across multiple global regions.
  • Experience developing corporate communications, executive communications, thought leadership, and internal communications programs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong creative judgment and the ability to provide clear, constructive direction to writers, designers, and agencies.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Marketing, Product, Sales, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, contributors, and approval processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience establishing meaningful measures for brand awareness, communications, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience managing agency relationships, budgets, scopes of work, and performance.
  • Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor while building the foundation for a future team.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and energized by working in a fast-growing environment where processes and capabilities continue to evolve.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working within cybersecurity, infrastructure, IT, or another complex technical market.
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing and communications across North America, Australia, and EMEA.
  • Experience building or scaling a brand, creative, campaign, or communications function.
  • Understanding of B2B demand generation, account-based marketing, buyer journeys, lead lifecycles, and pipeline measurement.
