Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a senior leader to guide the Background Investigations team, partnering with Talent Acquisition, Legal, Risk, IT and Procurement to improve vetting processes and technology.

The role includes developing a future-state roadmap, cross-functional collaboration, and driving enterprise-wide improvements. The leader will shape onboarding programs, deliver criminal training, and manage a portfolio of sensitive investigations.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience shaping cross-functional programs.
• Experience coaching and developing teams, from junior to senior levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to brief executives.
• Experience applying investigative analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Strong relationship-building with stakeholders across functions and risk.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of work with varying priorities.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building new programs or processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and advocacy for the Background Investigation team.
• Foster partnerships with stakeholders across Fidelity.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and modernize technology.
• Lead cross-functional committees and collaborate with procurement and TA Ops.
• Oversee training programs and onboarding improvements for associates.
