Job summary

Evonik is seeking a Reliability Manager for the Mapleton site, within the Care Solutions business line. You will develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and lead a team of engineers across maintenance, operations and safety.

Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, leveraging reliability tools, and aligning with Evonik standards to deliver world‑class asset reliability and strong business outcomes. Travel is ad-hoc and site-based.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing with leadership and general industrial management experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability strategies and asset management strategies to improve equipment performance.
• Lead and mentor plant engineers and reliability engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using reliability‑centred maintenance and other methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align reliability goals and improve asset utilisation.
• Evaluate and prioritise asset investments based on risk and impact.
