Job summary

The Director, Area Operations at Summit Midstream Corporation is responsible for supervising staff who maintain and operate compressors, high- and low-pressure systems, metering and related equipment across our midstream assets. You will lead field teams, manage relationships with landowners and customers, and drive safety and efficiency while coordinating with other Summit assets nationwide.

Required are a high school diploma, 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of leadership;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 10 years minimum of relevant experience preferred.
• 5 years minimum of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of compressor packages and pipeline systems.
• Strong working knowledge of natural gas assets.
• Ability to interact with land owners and customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with compression, field pipelines and measurement.
• Maintain successful customer relations.
• Assist in the hiring efforts of employee into the operational area.
• Work with Operations personnel to troubleshoot field-level problems.
• Work independently with little supervision; emphasize safety.
