Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA is seeking a hands-on, player-coach Senior Engineering Manager to lead a small AI/ML team building enterprise-grade AI solutions on Azure OpenAI and Databricks, delivered through Microsoft Teams.

You will own architecture, set engineering standards, review code, hire and coach engineers, and translate business questions from global operating units into scalable, governed AI services with strong security and observability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software, AI, ML or platform engineering, including 5+ years leading engineering teams or functions.
• Production generative AI and agentic solutions delivered at enterprise scale — RAG, vector search, agents with tool calling.
• Communicating technical vision to non-technical executives in large, matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and delivery of production AI solutions on Azure OpenAI, Databricks and Python, built to be secure, scalable and resilient.
• Lead and grow a team of AI engineers: hire, coach, review code, set engineering standards and develop careers.
• Run governance, security, observability and access control to ensure trusted AI outcomes for executives.

**Job Description Summary:**Lead the small, senior engineering team that turns business questions from Coca-Cola's operating units and bottlers into secure, governed AI agents — grounded in enterprise data on Azure and Databricks and delivered where decisions are made, increasingly inside Microsoft Teams. The people who use your team's work decide on pricing, packs and promotions in markets on four continents. This is a hands-on, player-coach role: you own the architecture, still read and review code, set the engineering bar and are accountable for what runs in production.
