Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Product Design Director to lead the Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance & Ethics design teams within the Risk Design portfolio. You will manage 10–12 designers, drive high-impact projects, and mentor a cross-disciplinary team across product, research, and engineering.

In this role you’ll navigate regulation-heavy contexts, shape design strategy, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver trusted, human-centered experiences that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in product design
• At least 3 years of experience leading design teams
• Experience with design toolkit spanning product design, service design and content design
• Experience with design systems and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead AML and Compliance & Ethics design teams on high-impact projects
