Job summary

Zeta Global, a NY-based AI-powered marketing cloud leader, seeks a Director of Application Security to architect and lead an AI-native AppSec function. You will embed security intelligence into the software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-powered workflows, while guiding a hands-on, player/coach security team.

This role focuses on shifting security decisively left, with policy-as-code, security agents, and real-time risk signals, as Zeta accelerates its AI-driven transformation.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in AppSec, DevSecOps, or secure software development.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP, cloud-native systems, and API security.
• Familiarity with AI/ML security risks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive an AI-native AppSec vision and roadmap.
• Design operating model for agentic AppSec with copilots and agents.
• Hands-on technical leader shaping secure architectures.
• Build and mentor a modern AppSec team focused on automation.
• Embed security into CI/CD and AI/ML pipelines.
