Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a forward-thinking leader to drive AI infrastructure strategy and engage key stakeholders. In this executive role, you’ll translate customer roadmaps into network architecture and investment plans, guiding Spectrum’s AI data center and transport initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with partners, lead senior technical discussions, and ensure seamless handoff to Sales Engineering while aligning teams around strategic architecture and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS or Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 8+ years in network architecture or related role.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams and executive influence.
• 5+ years supporting fiber infrastructure, dark fiber, IRU or capital-intensive network programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level technical discussions with senior executives and customers.
• Translate multi-year roadmaps into actionable network and investment strategies.
• Identify and shape opportunities before formal proposals.
• Develop customer-driven strategies for DCI, optical networking, dark fiber, IRUs and advanced transport solutions.
• Collaborate with Strategic Ecosystem Partners to anticipate requirements and markets.
• Aggregate customer demand to influence backbone, capacity and capital priorities.
• Serve as senior technical advisor, ensuring continuity across pursuits.
• Guide alignment across internal teams for seamless handoff to Sales Engineering.
