Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Director of Core Infrastructure Engineering for an AI-powered Digital Twin Platform. The role leads product engineering, architecture, execution and operations across distributed systems and AI-enabled workflows.

You will define strategy, build scalable services, and lead a team of engineers to deliver secure, high-performance platform capabilities, partnering across product and customers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with leadership experience.
• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed cloud platforms.
• Strong background in distributed systems, data platforms, APIs, databases and cloud architecture.
• Experience delivering products involving generative AI, ML, or agent orchestration.
• Familiarity with graph systems, vector search, event streaming or digital twin tech.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy and roadmap for the Digital Twin platform.
• Lead scalable services for digital models, telemetry, state management, simulation, and real-time analytics.
• Build AI agents that reason over data to investigate, recommend, and automate actions.
• Establish reusable capabilities for RAG, graph retrieval, agent orchestration, memory, and governance.
• Ensure AI-driven actions are secure, explainable, auditable, and compliant.
• Own architecture, reliability, performance, security, cost and readiness of the platform.
• Partner with product, design, OCI teams and customers to translate needs into capabilities.
• Recruit and lead engineering managers, AI engineers, and software engineers.
• Drive strong engineering practices across design, development, testing, deployment and incidents.
• Remain technically engaged in critical reviews and production incidents.
