Job summary

Illinois Tech seeks a Director of Admission Events, Student Experience and Visit Operations to provide strategic leadership for undergraduate and graduate engagement programs, admissions events, and campus visits. Reporting to enrollment leadership, you will set priorities, standards, and resource allocation to deliver high-quality experiences for prospective and admitted students and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years in higher education admissions or enrollment management.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and priorities for admission events, student engagement programs, campus visits, and Visitors Center operations.
• Supervise the Associate Director, Assistant Director, and Visitors Center Operations Coordinator.
• Oversee staffing and operational coverage for major events and high-volume visit periods.
• Partner with enrollment leadership and campus partners to support undergraduate and graduate enrollment goals.
• Present findings and recommendations to enrollment leadership and campus partners.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in higher education, business administration, communications, marketing, hospitality, event management, student affairs, or a related field

Master’s degree in higher education, business administration, communications, marketing, hospitality, event management, student affairs, or a related field preferred
