Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three years of experience in leading or supporting Educational Technology and/or Distance Education.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and disability backgrounds of community college students and employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the selection of instructional and academic software platforms, lead implementation efforts, and direct training and support development for those platforms.
• Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive training schedule for college faculty, educational administrators and classified staff.
• Administer strategic and day-to-day operations of the Library and Academic Technology and instructional professional development, including budgeting and program reviews.
• Train and supervise staff; conduct performance evaluations; participate in personnel selection; provide staff development.
• Coordinate resources to meet evolving needs of the college and accomplish campus-wide strategic initiatives.
• Oversee grant initiatives including administration, budgeting, and proposal development; serve as Principal Investigator when needed.
