Job summary

Network Connex is seeking an HDD Operator to operate horizontal directional drilling equipment and execute bore plans for underground telecom infrastructure. You will monitor bore progress, ensure safety, and work with the crew to complete installations on schedule.

The role requires 1–2 years of HDD experience, familiarity with Ditch Witch/Vermeer, and a strong commitment to safety on outdoor construction sites. Physical work and travel between sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with HDD drilling operations and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret bore plans and utility locates.
• Commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD equipment and follow bore plans to install underground utilities.
• Monitor drilling parameters, maintain equipment, and report issues.
• Maintain daily logs and coordinate with crew for on-schedule progress.
• Uphold OSHA safety standards and conduct routine inspections.
