Niels Fugal Sons Company, LLC is seeking a Directional Drill Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You’ll operate drill equipment, determine bore path, and verify utilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the company.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, bore path design and setup processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
