Qualifications

• One year of experience operating a directional borer, preferably in telecommunications.
• Previous rock boring experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload directional bore equipment securely.
• Transport tools, materials and equipment safely.
• Complete daily inspections on bore equipment.
• Operate horizontal directional drill equipment according to standards.
• Accuracy in company documentation for each assignment.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction prints

Knowledge of utility depths and placements

General knowledge of construction practices

Ability to work in various environments

Attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Education
