The role involves operating advanced optical, laser, and diagnostic equipment, coordinating requirements, and ensuring successful installation and testing of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Operate field-deployed equipment including laser systems and diagnostic devices.
• Read, interpret, and provide input on technical drawings and schematics.
• Develop training manuscripts and SOPs for field equipment deployment.
• Experience with safety standards and laser safety regulations (LSO training a plus).

Responsibilities

• Operate field-deployed equipment during testing events.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain field equipment.
• Ensure compliance with laser safety protocols and SOPs.
• Assist with test planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop deployment guides and SOPs for fielded equipment.
• Coordinate technical requirements with contractors and government entities.
