Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Navy directed energy programs. You will apply SE processes across the SDLC, translate customer needs into system requirements, and drive interfaces, verification, and certification efforts on complex weapons systems.

In this role you will participate in IPTs, manage risk, and develop MBSE architectures using tools like Cameo, Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with performing SE for weapons systems.
• 2+ years of MBSE experience and MBSE tooling in architectures, requirements, interfaces.
• Experience generating SE requirements for SRDs, SSRDs, ICDs.
• Experience with risk management and SE certification processes.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world needs into technical specifications across the SDLC.
• Drive proper application of SE processes within IPTs.
• Develop and review system architecture, hardware, and software interfaces.
• Support testing, verification, and certification activities.
• Contribute to risk management and configuration management activities.
