Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks compassionate caregivers to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings. The role emphasizes personal care, relationship-building, and supporting participants toward independent living.

Wage is $16 per hour for a full-time position. Responsibilities include aiding daily activities and promoting health, nutrition, budgeting, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent not required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships.
• Provide support to help participants participate in community activities and pursue their goals.

WK 1: Mon 8a-8p, Thurs 8a-8p, Fri 3p-10 pm, Sat 8a-3p, WK 2: Mon 8a-8p, Tues 8a-8p, Thurs 3p-8 p, Fri 3p-8p
