Job summary

Upstate Caring Partners is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in daily living and community activities. You will work closely to implement individualized plans, ensure safety and well-being, and support activities inside and outside the home.

No prior experience is required as we provide paid training. A valid NYS driver’s license is required and various full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts are available to fit different schedules.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; paid training provided.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Full-time, part-time, and weekend opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized plans and attend to personal care needs.
• Oversee health, safety and well-being of individuals, and keep nurses advised.
• Transport and accompany individuals on community activities and outings.
• Assist in daily housekeeping and facility-related duties.
• Maintain documentation for residential and day habilitation/community programs.
