Job summary

The Arc Mid Hudson is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide care and skills training to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and in the community. The role supports eight residents with diverse needs on a 38-hour weekly schedule.

Starting pay ranges from $19.44 to $21.39 per hour, with shift differentials as applicable. A high school diploma or GED is desired; post‑high‑school education in Human Services is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desired.
• NYS driver’s license is a must.
• Basic computer knowledge is a must.
• Training will include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
