Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Pennsylvania. DSPs will follow Individual Support Plans, assist with daily personal care, and foster independence while supporting social and communication skills through varied daily activities.

We offer shifts across full-time, part-time and PRN with a base rate of $16.75/hour plus $2–$3/hour differential and an Enhanced Pay option of $2/hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package and wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Follow Individual Support Plans to assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry, fostering independence.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve their goals and social/communication skills.
