Job summary

Merakey is seeking an Individual Support Specialist in Pennsylvania to provide direct care and support in the IDD division. The role is based in Coraopolis, McKees Rocks, and Sewickley, PA, with opportunities to grow through paid training and supportive supervision.

The position emphasizes respectful, compassionate care and teamwork with the goal of improving clients’ daily living skills and independence. Experience is not required, and paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct care is not required; paid training is provided.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and everyday tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.

Pay Rate: Base $16.25/hour. Earn up to $21.25 / hour with selection of Enhanced Pay option and qualifying house differential.

Shifts available: 3rd shift with weekends
