Job summary

Functional Industries, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Skills Instructor in Minnesota to empower individuals with disabilities through life skills, vocational training, and social engagement.

You’ll teach, encourage, and support clients to gain confidence and independence, following a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule. Compensation is $18 per hour with benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Background, OIG, and MVR clearance required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

As a DSP – Skills Instructor, your days will be filled with purpose, growth, and meaningful connections. You’ll:

• Teach and support individuals with disabilities as they develop essential life skills, vocational abilities, and social connections.
• Provide encouragement and guidance while celebrating progress—big or small.
• Create lasting memories while helping clients gain confidence and independence.

Requirements
