NJID is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities in a residential setting in Edison, NJ. You will support daily living activities, administer medications as needed, provide transportation assistance, and help residents engage in recreational and community activities according to individualized plans.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid drivers license.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license in good standing is required.

• Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
• Data entry using Therap (EHR)
• Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.

Job Requirements:

• HS diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license is in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
• Strong communication skills

NO certification required

Position Details:

Location: Edison County: Middlesex

Hours Per Work Week: 40 Weekly Work Schedule: Sun - Thurs 4pm-12am

Other shifts are available at this location.

NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
