Job summary

Child and Family Focus, Inc. is seeking Respite Caregivers in Bucks, Chester and Delaware Counties to provide hourly relief for families raising a child with a mental health diagnosis. This is a part-time, fee-for-service, independent contractor position, with services delivered in the family’s home.

Compensation ranges from $18 to $21 per hour based on experience. Hours vary week to week; on-call after-hours support and potential yearly bonuses may be offered contingent on performance,

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Clearances, background checks, drug screenings, and other documentation required.
• Independent contractor position with hourly compensation.
• Experience or understanding of trauma-informed care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hourly relief for parents.
• Provide care to children in their own homes and/or community.
• Create a fun and safe environment for the young person.

Job description

Our Respite Program provides temporary childcare for families raising a child with a mental health diagnosis.

This is a part-time, fee-for-service, independent contractor position. Respite Services are delivered on an hourly basis in the family’s home. Hours vary from week to week based on the Respite Caregiver's availability and the assigned family's needs.

We value our approved Respite Caregivers! Individuals approved to provide Respite Services will receive competitive, fee-for-service compensation, after-hours on call support, and may be eligible for yearly bonuses contingent upon performance, productivity, and family feedback.

Child and Family Focus is looking for Respite Caregivers in Bucks, Chester and Delaware Counties who are:

We encourage applicants with personal hygiene care experience, college students working towards a degree in social work or educational field and anyone that has an understanding and empathy of special health needs in children.

Respite Caregivers will:

• Provide hourly relief for parents
• Provide care to children in their own homesand/or community
