Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living, promote independence, and provide compassionate, person-centered support in a safe home-like environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, coordinating activities, transportation, meal prep, and documenting care, with comprehensive training and opportunities for LEAP career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

As a DSP, you will support individuals in daily life while helping them achieve personal goals and maintain independence in a safe, supportive environment.
