Job summary

ARISE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE INC seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a young woman in Baldwinsville, NY. The position offers respite and community support on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 8pm, with a pay rate of $20.00–$25.00 per hour.

A communication device is used to communicate wants and needs and mobility assistance may be required. Applicants must pass background checks and DMV fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record will be conducted prior to hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Requires access to technology to download multiple apps per Indera’s policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Support Professional services to a young woman in Baldwinsville, including mobility assistance as needed.
• Utilize a communication device to help express wants and needs.
• Arrange and accompany the client on activities such as walks and community outings.

She is looking for a mix of Respite ($20) and Com Hab ($25) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-8pm. She utilizes a communication device to communicate her wants and needs.
